Indian Husbands is an Expression. Women go to the police with a complaint (may be false), but the system provides to record that as a criminal complaint and that data adds in to the National Statistics of Crime Against Women. When male goes with a genuine complaint the police at max can record a Non Cognizable offence against the women. That will never reflect in the statistics. Then how will one guage crime against men? Every 100 Suicides in India have 63 Males and 37 Females. Every 100 male suicides have 45 married males, and every 100 women suicides have 25 married Women. Married women suicides have default arrests of the inlaws under presumed dowry death. Married men suicides entitle wife for a 50% share in property. What kind of equality is this? Poem

Kehti thi nikalo maa baap ko ghar se,
Nahi to bhejdungi tum sab ko Jail,
Lagadungi Dhara char sau atthannve A (498a),
Dowry case hoga, Jisme nahin milta bail,

Ya phir is ghar mein kar do khadi deewar,
Nahi to DV Act lagaungi,
Pit-Ta hua pati kahelvaungi,
jo dahej mein Mangta tha Car.

Budhey maa baap hain tere,
Man nahi hota shaant,
Is chotey se badey flat mein,
Milta nahin mujhe ekaant.

Ke saaree pehenna to usne sikha
Meri Maa ke paas,
Kehti thi who wale T Shirt Jeans hi pehenungi
Tel lene gaya tera samaj.

Maine kabhi maa baap ke ghar mein nahin dehka hai paisa
Tujhko isi liye to pakada tha…. tu tha jaisa to vaisa
I am not interested in you my so called honey,
Divorce dungi, Pehle ye to kaho kitni doge alimony.

Maap Baap mere bole beta zid chhodo,
Use khush rakho, Hum alag hotey hain,
Maine kaha Mujhko pata hai aap mera liye rootey hain,
Aery paisa gaya jo aaj… kal shayad aa jaye ga,
Magar aap se door bitaya gaya waqt kabhi nahin aayega.

Aur is aurat ne kiya hi kya hai, ke mein aap ko chhodd du,
Aap ne itna bada kiya, kya mein apney swarth mein yeh bhulu?.
Sukun milta hain mujhe jab bhi aap ke charan chhuta hu,
Mera jo sab kuch saha hai, aap ke hi rinn mein duba hu,

Aap ke hi yeh sanskar hai
jo meri ragon mein daud rahe hai,
Itna bedard hone ko matt kaho
Uske taano se to aap ke ashirwaad achchey hai,

Ke hum ko mita sakey yeh zamane me dum nahi,
hum aap se hi to hai, hum se aap nahi,
Garva se hum yeh kehte hai,
Ki hum aap ke hi to bete hai, Ki hum aap ke hi to bete hai.

This poem is an attempt to express what an innocent Indian husband undergoes when he knows that his parents are innocent and he is man enough, not to be henpecked and ready to be handcuffed, the one who is not fortunate enough in his marriage. This poem is inspired by so many callers who called on the help line and had expressed their grief. This is not a story of any one person, but these are collectively, the feelings of Indian husbands and their parents and siblings who are victims of law.

Jinesh, you are simply too good. Awesome poem. It touches the heart. Every man, single or married, must read this to get inspired with the sacred and beautiful relationship between a son and his parents.

Let us bring back those days - Return of the Son.
