DV Act: A Hiranyakashyapu's Boon to Surpanakha

"Domestic Violence Act" One week and already the arrests have started to take place. Again the misuse is surfacing as feared. While the real victim women may use this to her relief but the surpanakha would not miss out on this one.

The Fear: 498a is a law elaborated in 2 paragraphs and the loopholes generated with the same are being misused and encashed with integrated conviction rate as mere 2%. Now the bigger fear is that is Domestice ViolenceAct is elaborated in 16 to 22 pages (depending upon the format) I am yet to count paragraphs and lines. But each chapter comes with loopholes.

2 paragraphs of 498a when misued, have had devastating effect, as reflected in statistics. Then one can only imagine how 'd'eadly and 'v'enomous can this 'd'ormant 'v'olcano be of 'd'omestic 'v'iolence act misuse. As correctly stated by my brother that this act is far worse than the pending promise of Dashratha to Kaykay rather this act is like protection to Hiranyakashyapu granted by the misled Bramha.

That he would not die on Earth or in Space, nor in fire or water, neither during the day or at night, neither indoors nor outdoors, not by any weapon or calamity natural or artificial, nor by anyone created by Brahma.

The reason of this penance was the status of superpower to compete with Vishnu who in one of his incarnation had killed Hiranyakashyapu's brother. So he decides to please Brahma, and with his austere penance he gets himself such a powerfully drafted boon. Which was poorly drafted as per the DEV sqad and they feared misuse. Something like: Let there be misuse, let men suffer, this bill is made for them to suffer now, coz since ages all women (arguably) have been suffering, as reflected in Madam Renuka Choudhary's attitude.

Similarly the Domestic Violence Act and 498a in Modern India are so poorly drafted with loop holes that it makes an invincible demon of a Misuser, it is one sided and saddist that also encapsulates 498a. Now we need to get together and fight it out with the help of Narsingh Dev. Let us tear apart the loopholed laws just like Narsimha did, let the truth triumph. Let us not be the victims of the misuse or the Fear of Misuse.

Let there be harmony between the genders and within a family. Let there be Families. Let us Save Indian Family from the misuse of the law. Let there be a fool proof law with a back up mechanism to combat misuse. Because if misused then who is responsible? Tell me.
